Stars and Stripes Table Runner

Started this project several months ago (of course right?)  My mother in law gave me some fabric scraps of a red/white/blue quilt she had been working on.  It took me quite some time to figure out what I would do with these scraps before I decided on a table runner...
Looking a bit lumpy no doubt....going to use star templates to quilt together.  I do really like how it turned out.

.... and here is my favorite feline friend Pumpkin he loves to help me design my next project....what to do with these batik fabric strips?

Purpilicious Pillow

I love practicing free motion quilting.  I quilted these flowers on a piece of fabric and had to put  them together into something.
I paired along with some HST (Half square triangles) to finish it off....Love the purple

Sewing Feet Storage

I use this organizer from 'Five Below' to store all of my sewing feet.
It so easy to find  the foot I'm looking for when I am working on a project.

Iris Art Quilt- Original design

I began this project by sketching an Iris.

I traced my pattern on to freezer paper and cut out each section. I  applied wonder under to my fabric and pressed my freezer paper sections onto the fabric and  cut out. I took my fabric sections and put them together on another piece of fabric. Pressing  and outlining the sections with a close zig zag stich.

I finished by adding batting, backing and binding .... love creating art quilts!

Cinch Sack

I just love working with this fabric.  Here is another project I've completed using it.  This fabric is so great because it is water resistant.  So I made this cinch sack to use at the pool/beach this summer.
